The Post Office
The Royal Oak Inn on Bromsgrove Road also closed in 1910, the last licensee being the post mistress, Mary Burton. The Post Office continued to be run from the same premises by Mary Burton's daughter, Agnes Ferraby. From 1932, the building was also used by Dr. Herbert William Bland who held a surgery there each Tuesday at 12 noon. The building was demolished in 1984.
